Introduction

2. This is an application for judicial review to quash a planning permission granted on 7th November 2007 by the defendant, the local planning authority, for a two storey rear extension of a house at 30 Rylett Road in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

3. On 24th January 2008 Mr Supperstone QC, sitting as a Deputy High Court Judge, ordered a "rolled up" hearing of the application so that, if permission were granted, the substantive issues could be dealt with at the same time.
